Adult Men's Basketball League

Summer League Registration: April 13 - June 14, 2026
- Summer League Dates: July 13 - September 3, 2026.
- Team Fee: $650 per team.
- Schedules are posted on our team site.
- Spring League Dates: March 30 - May 21, 2026.
The City of Reno offers a spring and summer season each year for men's basketball leagues. There are different division levels for novice to competitive players to enjoy. All leagues are for adults 18 years of age and older.
- Spring season games typically start in April with registration starting in January.
- Summer season games typically start in July with registration starting in April.
- Choose from Monday, Wednesday or Thursday night leagues.
- Lowest to highest level of competition: B (novice) / A / AA / AAA (most competitive).
- Seasons are 8 weeks long. Teams play one game a week.
- There is no postseason tournament.
- Players may not be currently enrolled in college, semi-pro, or professional leagues.
- Our officials are from the local high school basketball leagues.

Grab your sneakers and your friends to join us for the ultimate adult recreational activity of kickball. Whether you're a newbie or a pro, the City of Reno kickball league is a blast for everyone!
Kickball is offered in the spring and summer, and is played on Monday and Friday evenings.
Team registration fee includes 10 games guaranteed. There is no post-season tournament for kickball.
All games are played at the Reno Sports Complex at 2975 N. Virginia St.

Registration Information
- All registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis.
- Payment must be made at the time of registration.
- When registering, you will select the day of the week you wish to play in either the Men's or Coed leagues. The Athletics department will rank your team in a division accordingly.
- Least competitive to most competitive levels of play: Novice, 3, 2, 1.
General League Information
The City of Reno offers two seasons of recreational softball a year in the spring and summer. The registration fee includes 10 league games guaranteed. The top 3 qualifying teams in each division will play in a single-elimination, post-season tournament. Adult softball is for ages 18+. Games are played Monday through Friday, between 6:30pm-11pm. We offer both Coed and Men's leagues.
Bats, gloves and uniforms are not provided. Teams must provide their own equipment and uniforms.
Spring league runs early-April to late-June. Summer league runs mid-July to early-October. We do not offer a fall or winter league.
All games are played at the Reno Sports Complex 2975 N. Virginia St. and/or Idlewild Park Field #3 1805 Idlewild Drive.

Weather Information
- Managers will be notified via email by 5pm the same day if games are postponed due to inclement weather.
- Call the Weather Hotline at 775-657-4637. The rainout line will be updated between 4-5pm on weekdays when inclement weather may impact games.

Tie Breaker Rules
In the event of a tie in the standings the tie-breaking order is:
- a) Head to Head Competition
- 1. If two teams are tied, it’s the team that defeated the other in head to head competition. If
they are still tied go to b). - 2. If three or more teams are tied, it is the head to head record of all teams involved in the
tie. If they are still tied go to b).
- 1. If two teams are tied, it’s the team that defeated the other in head to head competition. If
- b) Least runs allowed, between tied teams only. If still tied, go to c).
- c) Least runs allowed in all league games. If still tied, go to d).
- d) Flip a coin.
Forfeits
- If a team forfeits either one or both of their final games their position in the standings is revoked and they will lose their slot in the post-season tournament.
- There is a $30.00 fee for every forfeit a team has after the first forfeit.
- Any team forfeiting two (2) games will be placed on probation for the remainder of the season. Once on probation for excessive forfeiture, a team that forfeits a third game will be subject to removal from the league and relinquishment of all fees.

Reno Sports Complex Rules:
- Metal cleats or spikes are not allowed in adult leagues.
- No outside food or beverages may be brought into or sold at RSC - there is a food and beverage concession that operates at the facility.
- No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the Reno Sports Complex and/or Idlewild Park.
- Animals are not allowed in the facility (dogs, other pets, horses, etc.). Only service animals are permitted.
- Coolers and ice chests are not permitted. Each team is allowed one (1) 5-gallon cooler for water.
- Glass containers of any kind are not allowed at any athletic facility.
- The City of Reno Parks and Recreation Department must approve all vendors.
Adult Coed Volleyball League

- Spring League Dates: April 5 - June 22, 2026.
Each year, the City of Reno offers four seasons of co-ed adult volleyball leagues. Each league provides division levels that give opportunities for players from novice to competitive to enjoy.
- Winter league starts in January, registration typically begins in November. Spring league starts in April, registration typically begins in February. Summer league starts in July, registration typically begins in May. Fall league starts in October, registration typically begins in August.
- Least competitive to most competitive by division: Non-Spiking B, Non-Spiking A, Spiking B, Spiking A, A3, A2, A1. Note that A1, A2, and A3 spiking divisions are only offered on Sundays.
- Weeknight game times are 6:30pm, 7:35pm, and 8:40pm. Sunday league games are played between 9am - 6pm.
- All games are played at Plumas Gym or Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center unless otherwise noted. Plumas Gym is located at 475 Monroe Street. EMNECC is located at 1301 Valley Road.
- The team registration fee includes 10 league games guaranteed with a postseason tournament for those who qualify. The Fall league does not have a postseason tournament due to the holiday schedule in December.

Ultimate Frisbee


In partnership with the Truckee Meadows Ultimate Players Association, come and join the fun of ultimate frisbee during our spring and fall seasons.
Spring season registration starts in March with games starting in May.
Fall league registration starts in July with games beginning in August.
All games are played on Monday night at Idlewild Field - 1905 Idlewild Dr.
