The City of Reno partners with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) for the Adopt-a-Park program. Adopt-A-Park is part of KTMB’s overall Adopt-A-Spot program, which is an opportunity for businesses and community groups to invest in the health and beauty of our community and increase the quality of life for residents and visitors. Your business or group can adopt a park, spot along a roadway, along the Truckee River or in an open space area. Reno, Sparks and Washoe County all participate in this joint effort.
When you adopt a park, we ask that you conduct at least two cleanups a year to keep your spot clean. You choose the dates! KTMB will provide you with all the tools needed (bags, gloves, shovels, etc.) and coordinate trash pickup. KTMB also offers for adoption portions of roadways, open space and areas along the Truckee River.
