Sierra Kids Camps

Our Traditional Summer Camp options: Mount Rose Elementary, Westergard Elementary,  Jessie Beck Elementary, JWood Raw Elementary, California Building at Idlewild Park, Horseman's Park Clubhouse, and EMNECC.

Our Specialty Camp are on hold this summer and will resume in the Fall.  Lego/Sports/Outdoor/Music teachers and curriculum will be incorporated throughout our regular camp offerings.

Registration for all Summer break camp offerings is now open!

Registration will be completely online, with phone and in-person assistance available as needed.

2025/26 Summer Break Camp Dates

  • Summer Break Camps 6/15/26 - 8/7/26
  • Days: Monday to Friday excluding holidays 6/19 & 7/3
  • Times: 7am - 6pm
  • Ages:  5 - 12.5 years old (Participant must have already attended a Washoe County School District Kindergarten to register for Camp). 
  • Fee per child / per week for Traditional Camps:  $150
  • CA building location will be offering free lunch and PM snack through the Northern Nevada Foodbank
  • Rates, times, and participant ages vary for specialty camps

If your desired location is full please add yourself to the waitlist and we will do our best to accommodate the demand.  To be added to the wait list, please follow the same process as regular registration. Parents/guardians will be contacted as spots become available.

 **Please bring swimsuit and towel on pool & water field trip days including to Reno parks**

  • Weekly registration fee only – there will be no daily rates.
  • All participants must be registered and paid to attend
  • Active Scholarships/Financial Assistance will apply for Traditional Camps only
  • No credits, refunds, or transfers for sick, missed or hazardous air days.
  • All changes need to be emailed to ParksandRecRegistration@reno.gov by the Wednesday before the week of service begins.

Please be sure to read the Youth Parent Handbook and if necessary fill out and submit the Allergy information form to the check in table at arrival.

Financial Assistance (Scholarships)

Financial Assistance (Scholarships) are available for those that qualify based upon income and family size. Please contact o Norah at 775-334-2046. Applications may take up to ten days to review and process, and must be received prior to camp start date.
