Rolling Recreation
Our Rolling Recreation mobile activities are free and open to the public with yard games, table games, sports equipment, and arts and crafts. There is something for everyone to enjoy, and there is always a new game or activity to explore. You can find our regular schedule of events below.
For Rolling Recreation's fall series, we will visit parks throughout Reno this fall through November 16th, before Thanksgiving, unless otherwise posted. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates.
2026 Fall Rolling Recreation Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday: Barbara Bennett Park
- Weekdays find us from 2:30pm-5:30pm
- Saturdays find us 9am-12pm, until Washoe County School District fall break, beginning 10/10 we will be there 11am-2pm
- We will not be there 9/12, 9/18, and 10/17
- Tuesday & Wednesday: Brodhead Memorial Park from 2:30pm-5:30pm
- We will not be there 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, or 11/11
- Thursday: Idlewild Park from 2:30pm-5:30pm
- Friday: Believe Plaza from 2:30pm-5:30pm
- We will not be there 10/9 or 10/30
- Saturday: Yori Park from 9am-12pm, until Washoe County School District fall break, beginning 10/10 we will be there 11am-2pm
- We will not be there 9/12, 10/31, or 11/7
- Fall break: Daytime activations from 11am-2pm
- Tuesday: Dick Taylor Memorial Park
- Wednesday: Brodhead Memorial Park
- Thursday: Idlewild Park
- Friday: Horseman's Park
Days Off School
Stay tuned for our special Days Off School programming, all at Barbara Bennett Park from 10am-12pm, for a day of activities and local vendors. We'll be there for a few select days when WCSD isn't in session so come and have some fun!- Monday, October 12th - Sports Exploration Day

Movies in the Park
Join us for an evening of fun at Wingfield Park for our Summer Movies in the Park series. Rolling Recreation activities begin at 6pm and the movie begins at sunset, so the event goes from 6 p.m. to around 10:30 p.m., though the movie's start time depends on sunset and visibility of the projector. Check out our Facebook page throughout the summer for polls that give you a say in what movie we will be screening by reacting to the posts leading up to the movie. Summer nights can get cool, remember to bring blankets and sweatshirts in addition to your lawn chairs and coolers.- September 18th: The Smurfs (2025)

Cornhole Social
This September, Wednesday evenings at McKinley Arts & Culture Center will feature our Cornhole Social. We'll have our regular array of games and activities along with dedicated space for both casual and competitive cornhole play. For a $5 entry per person, participants can experience an evening of fun and light competition. It's a good place to meet other players and spend an evening outdoors.

Rentals
Our Rolling Recreation trailers, equipment, and the engaging staff to run it all are available for rent for your events. Whether you're having a kid's birthday party or corporate luncheon, we're a great addition to keep people entertained and get them socializing.
Pricing: $330 minimum - $250 flat for trailer and equipment, plus $20/staff/hour, with a two-staff-two-hours minimum to operate the trailer and equipment safely.
