Whether you are planning a wedding reception, a birthday celebration, a graduation party, or a sporting event, the City of Reno Parks and Recreation offers rental facilities that can accommodate your needs for any special occasion! 

Many programs such as camps, dances and sports leagues also are held in these facilities.

Please note

  • Requests to reserve buildings must generally be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the date you are requesting.
  • Reservations made less than 30 days in advance will be accommodated based on facility/staff availability.
  • Deposits and payment of all applicable fees and deposits must be made within three days from the date you make your reservation or your tentative reservation will be cancelled and your date will be made available for other renters/users.

The Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center is a 40,000 square foot facility that includes rental rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness center and cardio room, as well as a gymnasium. The rental rooms are ideal spaces for small to large meetings or gatherings.

Drop-in rates and membership passes to the gym, fitness center, cardio room and pool are available for the general public.

75 Cowan Drive

In 1927 Reno hosted an exposition commemorating the completion of the Transcontinental Highway passing through the city and a building was erected on the site. In 1938 the American Legion gave the building to the City of Reno. The California Building is located in picturesque Idlewild Park, located along the Truckee River.  Directions to California Building

The Neil Road Recreation Center is located in a campus like setting, with other facilities including, but not limited to, a Reno Police Department Substation, the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows and the Community Health Alliance. The Miguel Ribera Park, which includes, a rentable park shelter, sports fields and playground equipment surrounds the center.

The former McKinley Park School was constructed in 1909 and renovated in 1999. The ornate design and architecture of the interior is unique for indoor weddings and receptions. Now known as the McKinley Arts & Culture Center, it occupies an important place within the Truckee River Arts and Culture District in the City of Reno.

This historic building boasts two gallery spaces, arts and crafts workshops, the City of Reno Cultural Affairs Division, and provides rental office space for local non-profit arts organizations.

An auditorium and boardroom are available for rental by tenants and outside cultural groups for rehearsals and performances. 

Location/Parking:  McKinley Arts & Culture Center is located at 925 Riverside Drive and occupies one city block bounded by Riverside Drive, Vine Street, Jones Street and Keystone Avenue. 

635811230091170000The west wing of McKinley houses the Reno Philharmonic and the Reno Chamber Orchestra; the east wing houses the City of Reno Cultural Affairs Division, Masterworks Chorale, and the boardroom.  The Auditorium is in the north wing.

The main entrance is off Riverside Drive, with the parking entrance on Jones Street. The parking lot accommodates 115 vehicles plus 7 van accessible handicap spaces for a total of 122 parking spaces.

475 Monroe Street

Plumas Gym is located within Plumas Park. The gym consists of two full-sized hardwood volleyball courts and one full sized basketball court, with bleacher seating. This is an ideal location for a company sports competition or tournament. Tables and chairs are not available in the gym, however, bleacher seating is located on the sidelines. 

Only available for sport rentals.

During the week, Teglia’s Paradise Park Activity Center is home to City of Reno Health and Wellness Recreation Programs, providing activities, referrals and classes.
