The City of Reno Standard Design Guidance Worksheets have been developed as part of a toolkit to assist designers incorporating Low Impact Development (LID) into projects. Sufficient engineering analysis must show that the proposed storm water quality management measures are capable of capturing runoff and potential pollutants from the site in compliance with the City of Reno Structural Controls Ordinance. Proposed measures must also meet specifications in both the Truckee Meadows Low Impact Development Manual and the Truckee Meadows Structural Controls Design Manual. The engineering analysis must illustrate the drainage subareas and demonstrate the proposed mitigation measures, which must be designed to meet or exceed the minimum treatment standard required. The Design Guidance Worksheets have been created to provide a consistent submission format and when properly completed, demonstrate sufficient engineering analysis. For further background, please see the LID Design Procedure.
*Please note that these worksheets are being updated (2015) as part of our local guidance documents review and this page will contain new sheets when complete.
