Reno’s hanging flower baskets and flower beds bring color and life to the Biggest Little City. Now, you can be part of this annual tradition by sponsoring a flower basket or bed—beautifying Reno while gaining recognition. Every dollar raised stays with this program, funding supplies, seeds, baby plants, fertilizer, and everything needed to keep Reno bursting with color each Summer and Fall.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Hanging Flower Baskets

• 90 baskets are available throughout downtown Reno, from Lake Street to Booth Street.
• Displayed from June through October 2025.
• Sponsors receive recognition on a downtown sponsorship sign and on the City of Reno’s website.

Community Flower Beds

• Standard Flower Beds – (10 locations at parks and public spaces)
• Premier Flower Bed (Virginia Street Roundabout Midtown)
• Sponsors receive on-site recognition signage and website visibility.

Key Dates

• Sponsorship commitments due: May 30, 2025
• Recognition signs installed by: June 18, 2025
• Baskets remain up until: October 31, 2025

Reno’s adult sports leagues bring together thousands of players each year in competitive and recreational formats across several sports:

• Softball: Held at the Reno Sports Complex and Idlewild Park, our softball leagues run from spring through fall.  
• Kickball: A fun, team-based sport, kickball attracts a dynamic crowd, blending athletic competition with a social atmosphere. Games are held at various locations, including the Reno Sports Complex and Idlewild Park, making it a popular choice for players and fans. 
• Basketball: Taking place at the Plumas Street Gym, our basketball leagues engage players in both competitive and recreational divisions, bringing consistent attendance to these facilities.  
• Volleyball: Also held at the Plumas Street Gym and the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, year-round indoor volleyball leagues offer both spiking and non-spiking formats. This program attracts dedicated players across all skill levels.
• Dodgeball: Known for its high energy and competitive spirit, dodgeball leagues take place seasonally and attract a lively audience. These games foster a community of players and fans passionate about the sport.
