2025 Summer Registration opens Wednesday, May 21 at 12pm!
Junior Lifeguards is a program for children aged 11-14 that will provide participants with an understanding of the skills required to become a pool lifeguard by emphasizing fun and physical fitness through a variety of activities.
The program is physical in nature as participants will practice in-water rescue skills, complete swim workouts for their gauged skill levels, receive stroke refinement from instructors, participate in dry-land calisthenics and challenges, and play a variety of team-building games. Additionally, participants will have educational presentations from a variety of community partners.
For detailed information, see Parent Information Packet below.
Upon successful completion of a test out and written exam, participants will also earn their American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification, valid for two years!
