Firefighter Position Testing
Firefighter testing will be conducted in March 2018. Please check the Job Recruitment link above for the firefighter announcement and application to be posted.
Minimum Qualifications for Firefighter position:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Possession of a valid drivers license
- Valid Emergency Medical Technician certification or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification
- Must be in top physical condition (MOST important)
Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications and accepted for testing will be invited to attend a 1 day session which will include a physical agility test, followed by a written exam. A current CPAT (Candidate Physical Agility Test) certification may be submitted to satisfy the physical agility portion of the recruit testing, in which only the written exam will be required. Skills listed may or may not be included in the test but a candidate should come prepared to be physically able to perform each one if asked.
