Virtual Pre-application meetings are an opportunity for applicants to discuss a proposal prior to submission with the different departments involved in the review process. These meetings serve as a resource for complex development projects and should not be used to answer basic questions on building permits or licensing. Projects that typically benefit from virtual pre-application meetings include:
- Land development cases such as Master Plan amendments, zoning map amendments, special use permits/conditional use permits, tentative maps, variances, annexations, and abandonments
- Complex mapping cases for requests such as final maps, parcel maps, boundary line adjustments, or reversions to acreage
- Building permits that are more than 5,000 square feet, over four stories, or include site improvements
Meetings are typically scheduled virtually on Monday mornings from 9-11:15 a.m.
