Development Applications and Building Permits
Pre-application meetings are an opportunity for applicants to discuss a development proposal prior to submission with the different departments involved in the review process. Projects that typically benefit from pre-application meetings include:
- Land development cases such as Master Plan amendments, zoning map amendments, special use permits, tentative maps, variances, annexations, and abandonments
- Complex mapping cases for requests such as final maps, parcel maps, boundary line adjustments, or reversions to acreage
- Building permits that are more than 5,000 square feet, over four stories, or include site improvements
Pre-application meetings are typically scheduled on Monday mornings for thirty minutes beginning at 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. Request a pre-application meeting.
