The City of Reno unequivocally disavows and renounces the actions and views of former City employee Ron Ahrens, regarding the recent nationwide mailing of flyers entitled "Tribunals for the Psychopaths Are Coming." Mr. Ahrens sent the flyers to law enforcement and government agencies across the country urging them to display the material publicly.
Mr. Ahrens retired from the City of Reno on April, 9, 2011, and is not affiliated with the City in any capacity. The actions taken were his alone, independently without the knowledge, endorsement, or support of the City, or the Reno Police Department. The flyer content is deeply disturbing, and Mr. Ahren’s actions do not reflect the values, mission, or policies of the City of Reno.
