Biography
Elected to represent Reno’s vibrant Ward 6 on the City Council, Brandi Anderson brings a unique blend of strategic expertise and a passion for community growth to her new role. With over 25 years of marketing experience across diverse industries—including education, tourism, technology, healthcare, and small business—and 20 years living in Reno's South Meadows, Brandi has a proven track record of finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
Brandi launched her marketing career in 1998, quickly earning a reputation for innovative strategies and data-driven decision-making. Before founding Push Consulting in 2018, she led a dynamic team of traditional and digital marketing professionals at Prospect Education. There, she oversaw branding, recruitment, and a groundbreaking marketing approach that used real-time data to fine-tune strategies and exceed goals—all with the goal of improving targeted workforce development in communities across the western United States.
At Push Consulting, Brandi has continued to excel, partnering with organizations of all sizes to craft effective campaigns that connect with audiences and deliver measurable success. Whether managing campaigns for education, public health, arts and culture, or small businesses, her ability to balance big-picture strategy with tactical execution has been a cornerstone of her career.
A proud graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Reynolds School of Journalism, Brandi is deeply connected to her Northern Nevada roots. Her passion for fostering growth and innovation is now focused on serving the people of Ward 6, where she is dedicated to championing safety, health, economic prosperity, and a vibrant quality of life for all.
When not tackling city issues or marketing challenges, Brandi enjoys Reno’s unique mix of natural beauty and community spirit with her husband Joe, her sons Cooper and Easton, and their rescue pups, Rusty and Rico.
