Lunch at Neil Road

Senior Lunches at Neil Road Recreation Center

The City of Reno and Washoe County have partnered to serve an affordable, nutritious lunch on weekdays to seniors at the Neil Road Recreation Center, 3925 Neil Road (located on RTC Route 9).

  • Lunch is served weekdays at 12:15 p.m. Please call 775-689-8484 by 9 a.m. to reserve your meal as "drop-ins" cannot be accommodated.
  • For patrons age 60 or over, the suggested contribution for the meal is $2
  • Patrons under age 60 are charged $4 for the meal.

Please note: A Washoe County Senior Services form (not a residency document) must be completed prior to receiving meals.

Bread Drop

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada delivers free bread, pastries and desserts to Seniors age 50 and older at the Neil Road Recreation Center (NRRC) every Tuesday morning December 2019-February 2020. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. and distribution begins at noon.

Food Bank of Northern Nevada Mobile Harvest

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada's Mobile Harvest program distributes perishable foods such as fresh produce, bread, and dairy at Neil Road Recreation Center (NRRC) every 4th Wednesday from 12-1:30 p.m.
