The Reno Arts and Culture Department supports public art projects big and small throughout Reno’s six wards. Public art in Reno helps improve public spaces, create vibrant neighborhoods, and provides free and accessible art to everyone.
People living in the city of Reno who would like to be more involved in public art projects are encouraged to sign up for our public art task for interest form. Public art task forces are volunteer subcommittees of the Arts and Culture Advisory board that meet two to three times to help outline calls for artists and review artist applications for large public art projects.
