SOQ 2024-2026
The City of Reno Qualified, Ranked, and Unranked Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) 2024-2026 Consultant Lists are posted below:
City of Reno Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Process
The City of Reno is qualifying consultants for future infrastructure and facility projects, such as:- Street and sewer rehabilitation, including lift stations
- Treatment plant improvements
- Drainage projects
- Park improvements
- Facility remodels and new construction
- Asbestos abatement, and more
The SOQ process opens every odd year and the resulting list is valid for the next two calendar years. Submissions are reviewed by technical experts in the City and the following lists are generated as a result of the vetting process:
- Ranked lists – for categories with planned projects
- Unranked lists – for categories where projects may arise later
In general, projects could be assigned in several different ways:
1. An individual project may be assigned to the top eligible firm on the ranked list for the service category,
2. The three top eligible firms from a ranked list could be invited for short interviews to determine which firm's qualifications best match project needs,
3. Three eligible firms from an unranked list may be evaluated and/or invited for short interviews to determine which firm's qualifications best match the project needs, or
4. Reno may issue a RFP and solicit responses for individual projects from all interested firms nationwide, independent of the SOQ lists.
