The City of Reno currently uses PlanetBids to manage all construction and non-construction Bids, RFPs & RFQs as well as maintain a registered vendor list. Notices of all construction and non-construction bids are sent electronically to registered vendors via the City of Reno PlanetBids Vendor Portal.

You must be a registered vendor with the City of Reno to view and bid on all construction and non-construction Bid Opportunities through the City of Reno PlanetBids Vendor Portal. Potential bidders are responsible for checking these sections regularly to see if any addenda have been added.

OneWater Nevada is a regional initiative focused on addressing the Greater Reno area’s water challenges and long-term water sustainability. The OneWater Nevada Advanced Purified Water Facility (APWF) Project is a groundwater recharge project undertaken by OneWater Nevada and led by the City of Reno and Truckee Meadows Water Authority. TMWA has issued and awarded Record Steel and Construction (RSCI) as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services during the design phase of this project.

The selected firm shall serve as the City's primary technical representative in all interactions with TMWA and its CMAR contractor. The selected firm shall ensure that Reno's facility requirements and interests for the entire project, but especially for RSWRF unit processes, the Transfer Pump Station, coagulation/flocculation/clarification processes, and the transmission main to the APWF, are incorporated into and reflected in construction decisions, change orders, and field modifications.
