Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Post Date:06/02/2026 1:05 a.m.At approximately 9:20 PM personnel from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to a report of a single vehicle motorcycle crash in the area of Moya Bl and Silver Shores Dr. Initial investigation found the motorcycle was at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve causing the motorcycle to leave the roadway ejecting the driver. The driver was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased a short time later.
Speed appears to be a factor in this crash.
The identity of the deceased is withheld, pending notification to next of kin.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
