City of Reno Releases Fall 2024 Community Clean-Up Dates

Post Date:09/10/2024 10:00 a.m.

The City of Reno is announcing the dates of its upcoming Biggest Little Fall Community Cleanups. The City is partnering with Hero Environmental Services, Redwood Materials, local schools, and community volunteers to help residents properly discard of household hazardous waste, electronic, and junk items during these cleanups.

“This is a great opportunity to get rid of excess waste around our homes and save a trip to a transfer station,” said Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. “We all play a key role in keeping our city clean and beautiful, and these events are accessible for all residents with numerous opportunities throughout our Biggest Little City.”

Residents can participate by bringing the appropriate waste accepted at each event or by contributing volunteer time. Residents interested in volunteering can sign up here. Cleanup events will run until the bins are full.
