Part 3 of the Draft Zoning Code Available for Public Review
The last section of the draft zoning code is now available for public review and input. Part 3 focuses on administration and procedures. It details the proposed rules for processing and reviewing land development projects. The chapters outline the steps and requirements for a project to make its way from application to decision.
“We are excited to release this final section of draft code language. The community now can see how all three parts work together to provide for a process that is more predictable and transparent,” Community Development Director Arlo Stockham said. “Our goal through January 2020 is to get as many issues about the drafted language on the table as possible, so I encourage you to share your thoughts! This will help us create a revised draft that is informed by what our community wants to see in the code.”
The City is in the process of scheduling workshops with the Planning Commission and City Council in early 2020. The purpose will be to go over the draft code language and the public input received. Following those meetings, a revised version of the draft code is scheduled to be released in April 2020 for a second round of public review and input.
