September 11, 2019 Reno City Council Highlights
In our ongoing commitment to keep citizens and media informed, we’ve summarized the outcomes of a few key agenda items from today’s Regular Meeting of the Reno City Council:
D.1 - Daybreak Project
Council voted to review and update the applicant’s proposal. Staff and the applicant will provide those details for council review and a hearing will be held during the September 23rd meeting.
Council approved a resolution to issue Medium-Term Obligation bonds to purchase newer equipment for the Reno Fire Department. The bonds cannot exceed $6,500,000.
D.7 - Sewer Capacity Allocation: Reno-Stead
Staff testified to council about updates on the lake level concerns and sewer line capacity. Staff explained that depending on rainfall and evaporation, the lake could drop by 2.5 feet per year to more traditional levels.
G.1 - Reno Arts and Culture Commission: Elisabeth Genasci
