City of Reno invites public to provide feedback on homelessness
As part of its continued effort to engage the community in the areas of housing and homeless resources, the City of Reno is partnering with OrgCode Consulting to release a Homelessness System of Care citizen survey to gain feedback directly from the public.
The survey is part of OrgCode’s current operational review of the housing and homelessness system in Washoe County, which is being paid for by grant funds. The survey is available at Reno.gov/Housing and will be open for two weeks until January 31, 2019.
Over the last five months, OrgCode has been analyzing the Reno/Sparks/Washoe County community’s homeless system. In order to gain insight into homeless issues and the services currently being provided, they have done extensive outreach and met with key stakeholders, business owners and service providers.
Upon receipt of community feedback and a review of the participants, City staff requested that OrgCode broaden the outreach component to gather general citizen input.
