Inaugural City of Reno Green Building Awards
Help celebrate local leaders aligning their business with Reno’s clean energy future by advancing green building and energy efficiency
The City of Reno, in partnership with its dedicated stakeholders, will host its inaugural Green Building Awards program at The Grove at South Creek on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The Grove is a unique LEED-Certified events center that serves the Reno community while protecting the environment.
This free reception-style event will feature awards for local, certified green building and ENERGY STAR facilities. During the event, the City will also recognize industry leaders who have committed to ReEnergize Reno. ReEnergize Reno is an ambitious program to improve the efficiency of commercial, industrial and multifamily buildings 20% by 2025.
“Please join us and our City leadership team, as well as local industry leaders, to honor those that have made a commitment to our clean energy future,” At-Large Reno City Councilmember David Bobzien said. “We’re looking forward to another great sustainability event with our community partners.”
Senator Catherine Cortez Masto's office will also be represented and will be recognizing awardees.
