McKinley Gallery East presents “Between Plate and Paper,” an exhibition by the Printmakers’ Conspiracy. The prints range from traditional methods like linocuts to modern approaches like screen printing. The show is a dynamic collection of vibrant colors contrasting with graphic forms and lines. The images encompass subjects from semi-abstract studies on the human body to naturalistic studies on animal life. The works even touch on religious and mythological themes.
The Printmakers’ Conspiracy was founded over ten years ago in Reno. The group is dedicating to creating and fostering an energetic printmaking community. The group is made up of students, teachers, professionals, and people new to the medium. The Printmakers’ Conspiracy holds meetings, viewings, and studio visits for its members and has hosted several group exhibitions. If you have an interest in learning more about the community or joining the Printmakers’ Conspiracy, please contact Teal Francis at firstname.lastname@example.org
