What's New in Ward 2?
Comstock Park Tree Planting
Help us grow Reno’s urban forest by planting 24 trees at Comstock Park!
Join the City of Reno, the Double Diamond Ranch Master Association, and our community partners on Saturday, October 22 for a fun tree planting event. Comstock Park is located at 1650 Carat Boulevard in Reno.
Volunteers can check in between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The program will kick off at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers can email RenoEarthDay@gmail.com or call 775-762-0651 for additional information.
The tree planting event is part of the City of Reno’s ReLEAF Reno initiative. The goal of ReLEAF Reno is to preserve the health of existing trees and expand the city’s urban tree canopy.
