  Vacation Station

Vacation Station features group games, crafts, sports, reading, free time, and field trips all under the supervision of trained staff.

Ages: 6-14 years

Dates:    Jun 13-17     June 20-24     June 27-July 1

               July 5-8        July 11-15       July 18-22

               July 25–29    August 1-5

Time: 7 am to 6 pm

Fee: $30 per day or $100 for the Week

Performing Arts Camp

This camp provides an opportunity for kids to sing, dance and perform in a production. There is a part for everyone: Lights, music and even directing. A performance will occur for family and friends, for our other camps and also one at Artown.

Ages: 8-14 years

Dates:    Jun 13-17     June 20-24     June 27-July 1

               July 5-8        July 11-15       July 18-22

               July 25–29   

Time: 7 am to 6 pm

Fee: $130 for the Week

Outdoor Adventure and Wilderness Camp

Participants will be introduced to the exciting world of wilderness recreation, including such activities as rock climbing, kayaking, fly fishing, hiking, and camping. The highlights of this camp are wilderness safety, Leave No Trace & learning how to set up a tent.

Ages: 10-14 years

Dates:    June 27-July 1     July 5-8       July 18-22        July 25–29   

Time: 7 am to 6 pm

Fee: $130 for the Week

Bicycling Beyond Bounds Camp

This is a partnership between the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Sparks and Reno Parks, Recreation and Community Service. Bike safety, riding in groups, riding on bike paths/lanes, correct use of gears for climbing hills and other riding safety skills will be taught. Each morning we will take a different ride – can include the Truckee River Path, pump track in Panther Valley, and Peavine. Afternoons will be spent on repair, maintenance & tuning. Must be able to ride a bike.

Ages: 10-14 years

Dates: June 20-24     July 11-15   

Time: 7 am to 6 pm

Fee: $130 for the Week

Financial scholarships may be available. 

Scholarship applications may take up to ten days to review and process, and must be received prior to camp start date.
