The Reno-Tahoe Senior Games is a program dedicated to promoting and implementing fitness programs and activities for people 50 years and better. The games offer participants several individual and team competitions. Participants compete within age groups to win gold, silver, and bronze medals!

For 2015, we would like to thank our continuing sponsors - SENIOR CARE PLUS & SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE - and welcome our new host hotel - CIRCUS CIRCUS RENO! With the help of these two organizations, the games will be even bigger and better!

How to Register

Registration is now OPEN! To sign up, use the link above to download the form, pick one up at a recreation facility or call/email us and we'll mail/email one to you. After you fill out the form you can mail it along with payment to City of Reno Senior Division, 1301 Valley Road, Reno, NV 89512 or drop the form off at one of our facilities - EMNCC, NRRC or TPPAC. You may also email your registration for to and we'll contact you to arrange payment. Deadline to sign up for the games by mail is Friday, January 23, 2015.

Registration Fee Schedule
  • $20 Registration Fee required for all competitors:
    •  Registration includes: T-shirt, water bottle, carry bag and ticket to the Valentine's Day Dance.
  • $10 per sport fee
    • Players may compete in multiple events in each sport for the same fee. Example: Pay $10 for bowling and compete in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
  • Table Tennis has an additional tournament fee of $20.00.
  • Additional T-shirt: $10.00
  • Additional Ticket(s) for Valentine's Dance - $15.00 for one / $25.00 for two
Opening Ceremonies - Monday, February 2, 2015

Join us for the Opening Ceremonies on Monday, February 2, 2015, starting at 1:00 PM. Join some of our local officials as we honor the athletes with a Parade of Athletes. Come for the presentation of the colors by the Vietnam Veteran's Color Guard and singing by the Paradise Glee Club. Check-In tables will be available all day for your convenience. No fee for this event so come down and have some fun!

Senior Day at the Legislature- Monday, January 26 & February 9, 2015 

Join us for Senior Day at the Legislature. There will be an Orientation Day on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 9-11 AM at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center in the Tuscarora Room. There will be a discussion of important senior items to prep for the Senior Day at the Legislature on Monday, February 9, 2015. Light refreshments will be served. The Senior Day at the Legislature takes place on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 7-3PM in Carson City, NV. Please call 775-657-4602 for more information or to arrange a free shuttle ride down to Carson City. See flyer for more details.

Valentine's Day Dinner / Dance - Saturday, February 14, 2015

Every registration includes a ticket to the 2015 Valentine's Day Dinner / Dance. Check-In opens at 4:00 PM and the dancing starts at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be buffet style. You do not have to be a participant to enjoy the dinner / dance! Cost to attend is $15.00 for singles / $25.00 for two. Bring your best sweetheart and dance the night away to a live band and a live DJ. Tickets may be purchased at any of the City of Reno's Recreation Centers or at the door the night of the dance.

Circus Circus Reno is offering a great room package for our Reno/Tahoe Senior Winter Games participants. Room prices range from $27.00 Sunday through Thursday to $59.00-$65.00 Friday and Saturday. Circus Circus Reno is located at 500 N. Sierra Street, Reno, NV 89503. Access to the Circus Circus Convention Area is located in the southwest corner of the casino. Take the escalator down to the lower level. Parking is free in either of the two parking garages located next door to the casino. Both garages have covered access to and from the casino area.
