Fund a Local Startup or Project

Thanks to online crowdfunding it's never been easier to directly support the financial efforts of a local business or small project. What is crowdfunding? Crowdfunding is the collective effort of an online community to financially support a specific project for a business, nonprofit or individual(s). Crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo have helped successfully launch local startups like Pinoccio and small projects like the Reno CORE Burning Man Art Project.

As a means to help support local crowdfunding efforts the City of Reno will keep an ongoing list of local campaigns. If you know of a campaign that should be added to our list, please send your request to webmaster@reno.gov.

Please review the Crowdfund Campaign Listing Policy before submitting a request.

*Disclaimer: Before donating to a crowdfunding project please make sure to review all policies, risks and responsibilities pertaining to the project and specific crowdfunding platform.
