- Reno City Council considers strategic investment recommendations
Due to the general improvement of the local economy, coupled with organizational savings, the City of Reno has realized additional resources in FY15 of approximately $10.9 million in the General Fund. Exactly how the funds are allocated will be decided at the April 29, 2015 regular meeting of the Reno City Council via a budget augmentation agenda item.

- Northwest Pool will close temporarily to allow for upgrades
The Northwest Pool, located at 2925 Apollo Way, will temporarily close beginning Sunday, April 5, 2015 to allow for facility maintenance and improvements. Work crews will replace the Northwest Pool boiler and address several ADA improvements in the locker rooms and parking lot.
