Camps for Kids

With nine camps for students ages 6-15 years old, kids can have the best summer ever!  All camps operate Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Locations, fees and ages vary.  Registration is now open.  Financial scholarships may be available. 	A fun-filled camp with many field trips including bowling, skating, swimming and so much more. Specialty instructors lead activities for a more enriching camp day. For ages 6-14.  Three locations to choose from: Billinghurst Middle School (6/14 - 8/6), Plumas Gym (6/14 - 8/27), and the Neil Road Recreation Center (6/14 - 8/27).  Fee: $100 per week. 	There's so much to do - sports, games, swimming, field trips, and great friends. It's hard to fit it all into summer, but we try! For ages 6-14. Two locations to choose from: Desert Heights Elementary School and Sierra Vista Elementary School. Fee: $100 per week. Look for Summer Discovery Teams in June of 2011!
	This THREE WEEK camp provides an opportunity for kids to sing, dance and perform in a production. There is a part for everyone: lights, music and even directing! For ages 8-14. Held at the Southside Cultural Center. Fee: $130 per week. 	A great outdoor experience. Learn survival skills while having fun.  Enjoy an overnight campout at Sky Tavern on Mt. Rose on Thursday night, complete with s'mores and outdoor activities. For ages 8-14.  Located at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center. Two sessions available. Fee: $130 per week. 	Start the summer with this camp, then assist in other camps as a junior counselor. Learn to lead camp programs, plan activities and games, and coordinate schedules. Experience personal growth and leadership development. A great way to discover if a future career in recreation is for you! For ages 13-15. Located at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center. One session available. Fee: $100 per week. Activity Calendars No sessions are scheduled at this time.
