The City of Reno encourages everyone to learn to swim! Swim lessons follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program which teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Age and skill-appropriate classes are available for students 6 months and older. Ask about private swim lessons too. Lesons are held year-round at Northwest Pool and Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.
