New: The City of Reno is requesting Letters of Interest (LOI) for long-term operation and management of the Community Assistance Center. The Community Assistance Center is made up of three shelters (Men's, Women's, and Family Shelter), a Triage Center, and the CIT offices. Local non-profit groups are also co-located in the space. View contact information.
Family ShelterThe Family Shelter and Community Resource Center is the largest and final building at the Community Assistance Center. It provides transitional housing for up to 21 homeless families and 6 pregnant women, as well as offering a one-stop shop of services, referrals, and supports designed to assist in re-gaining self-sufficiency.
