Senior Flash Mob planned for downtown Reno

A live Senior Flash Mob is scheduled to break out under the Reno Arch on Virginia Street on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Video from the event will be used to kick off a new local "Senior Discovery" TV show.
Everyone is welcome. No dancing experience is necessary; but disco attire is recommended. City of Reno officials are expecting a turnout of between 200 and 300 people.
Complimentary transportation will be available from Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center (1301 Valley Road), Teglia's Paradise Park Activity Center (2745 Elementary Drive), and Neil Road Recreation Center (3925 Neil Road) to downtown Reno starting at 9 a.m. Last pickup at each facility will be 10 a.m.
To arrange transportation or for more information, call the Senior Services Office at 657-4602.
Traffic Restriction: The intersection of Virginia and Commercial Streets will be closed from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
