The citizen engagement program supports Council’s priority to Enhance Communications and Community Engagement and provides a great opportunity for citizens to talk with Council Members and staff in an informal atmosphere. The City of Reno would like to know what citizens’ concerns are, what’s happening in their respective neighborhoods, and what the City can do to help.
Citizens who cannot attend in person, but would still like to get more involved in their local government, are encouraged to share their ideas at Reno.gov/ThinkReno and to use the #thinkreno hashtag on social media.
In April, Council Members hosted Community Forums at various locations throughout the city. Citizens’ ideas from the six forums were compiled and shared with City Council.
